Fall prevention

Beginner's Tai Chi program

The beginner’s Tai Chi program was developed by a team specialized in movement and fall prevention, in collaboration with an experienced Tai Chi teacher. It features a Tai Chi variant that is easier to learn than the traditional form. The course is adapted specifically for seniors, by reducing the complexity of movements and sequences, for example. Several scientific studies found that the practice of Tai Chi was an effective method to help prevent falls among seniors. This course is also offered to people who suffer from a disease that affects their balance.
