Multiprogram users' committee of the CISSS de la Côte-Nord

The services of the Multiprogram users’ committee are intended for all the users of the following programs:

Pursuant to the Youth Protection Act, the youth protection director receives incidents reporting on the situations of children whose safety or development are possibly compromised.

The director also receives referred cases and court orders under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Other services are provided by youth protection, such as being reunited with your family and adoption, in accordance with the Act respecting health services and social services or the Civil code’s provisions as regards adoption (Ouvre un lien interne dans la fenêtre couranteclick here).

  • MENTAL HEALTH, ADDICTION, HOMELESSNESS AND GENERAL SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAMS

The service access point is the main entrance to mental health services. It is by using this means of access that you will be directed to the department that best suits your request, whether you are looking for physical health, psychosocial or rehabilitation services (Ouvre un lien interne dans la fenêtre couranteclick here).

  • INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES, AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES PROGRAMS

The person, their family and their support network are the basis for the organization of services which contribute to develop and maintain their abilities, compensate for their disabilities and facilitate their social participation (Ouvre un lien interne dans la fenêtre couranteclick here).

A Users' committee or Residents' committee: 

  • Is the guardian of users’ rights
  • Is an autonomous entity
  • Is a group of volunteers who get involved in order to improve the quality of services
  • Serves to represent users and improve services
