
The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de la Côte‑Nord starts a wide regional consultation aimed at giving a voice to communities in order to better understand their needs, realities and priorities in terms of health and social services.
Who can participate?
The following people and groups are invited:
- Elected officials and municipal leaders
- Community organizations
- School representatives
- Childcare centre (CPE) representatives
- Representatives of groups that work together in the community
- Anyone in the population who is interested
Topics covered
Important health-related topics will be discussed, such as:
- Healthy lifestyle habits (eating well, being active, sleeping)
- Development of young children
- Mental health
- Chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, heart diseases, hypertension, cancer)
- Aging of the population
- Access to health services
How does the consultation take place?
Two meetings in each local services network
- In-person meetings of about two hours
- In some cases, an online meeting can be held
Each meeting is divided into three stages:



After the consultation
- A summary of the main ideas will be prepared for each territory
- A local committee will be created to follow up on the actions to implement
