Baie-Comeau, July 2 nd , 2020 - Engaging in outdoor activities is excellent for your health but the Direction de santé publique de la Côte-Nord would like to remind the population of the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning when using fuel-burning equipment (ex.: propane gas, oil, wood); these equipment emit carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas that is colorless, odorless and tasteless. As a result, it cannot be detected, unless you have a detector that is specifically designed for this purpose. Press release

Baie-Comeau, June 26 th , 2020 - The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de la Côte‑Nord wants to inform women in the region that breast cancer screening activities will be progressively resuming, respecting the capacity of the region's screening centres, following ministerial directives and making sure that the physical distancing rules are followed. In order to ensure your safety, new measures were implemented in screening centres: it is strongly recommended that you wear a mask or face covering during your screening, you must perform hand hygiene and you must keep two metres
