Baie-Comeau, January 13 th , 2021 - Starting next week, vaccination against COVID-19 will expand on the North Shore, including isolated and remote territories. The vaccine will first be offered to health care workers who are in close contact with users. Other groups will be targeted in the coming weeks, based on the availability of the vaccines. Following the last few months during which Québec was confined, being able to enjoy good times with our loved ones feels great. However, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de la Côte‑Nord wants to warn the population, because the virus causing COVID-19 is still there and it is still circulating in our region. Le CISSS de la Côte-Nord avise la population qu'il n'y a pas de service de cafétéria pour les usagers et visiteurs à l'Hôpital Le Royer de Baie-Comeau et à l'Hôpital de Sept-Îles. Cette situation est due à la pénurie de personnel. Des machines distributrices sont disponibles à Sept-Îles et des démarches sont en cours afin de rétablir le service de machines distributrices à Baie-Comeau. Les services alimentaires demeurent offerts en tout temps pour les usagers hospitalisés. Merci de votre compréhension.
