  • The vaccination passport is mandatory to access health care establishments and living environments

    As of today, the vaccination passport is mandatory for people aged 13 and over, including visitors and family caregivers, who want to access health and social service establishments in Québec. This measure does not apply to users who come in to receive services.

    Exceptions
    Certain people are exempt from showing their vaccination passport to prove that they are adequately protected:

    • Users who come in to receive health services and social services;
    • A person who escorts a child under 14 years of age, a woman who gives birth, or a person who is incapable of giving consent for the care required by their health condition;
    • A person who visits a relative at the end of life;
    • The parent or tutor of a child placed in a rehabilitation centre for young persons with adjustment problems, as well as any person with visitation rights ordered by a decision of the Court of Québec;
    • Someone who escorts another person who, because of their health condition or for safety purposes, requires assistance that cannot be provided by the environment;
    • A peace officer or firefighter who, in the line of duty, must go to an environment targeted by this measure.
